About Me
Hello! My name is Tracey Weidner and I am the owner of Healing Zone.
I feel I have always been a helper and a guide. After 25 years of teaching, I was drawn to helping and guiding through the Healing Arts. I was introduced to mediation and Reiki as a means of personal healing, and over time, people witnessed my change, and asked me to help them do the same. I began sharing and teaching what I learned. Doors started opening, clearly signaling that there was an opportunity for this to become a vocation.
At a tai chi retreat, I overheard two women talking after they received a casual shoulder rub. One said she had not been touched since her husband died, and my heart went out to her. Later, I learned while doing my graduate studies that many senior citizens only experience touch via medical practitioners, which is often not gentle, and can be painful. Over time, I felt a pull to expand my Reiki practice with other touch modalities like Reflexology and Massage. I now work with people across the life-span, providing compassionate and healing touch for their physical and inner well-being.
Professional Memberships and Credentials
My Professional Journey:
I have a dual BS in Education and Child Development, plus a Master’s degree in Family Studies. My teaching journey spans all ages from infants to senior citizens. Even though I am no longer in the education field, I continue to walk the path of teaching and guiding in areas of wellness.
I began studying and practicing meditation in 1995, and Reiki in 2000, becoming a Reiki master in 2009. This led to teaching meditation at a Healing Arts medical center in 2011 through 2014. In 2012, I completed Reflexology and Body Talks while living in Michigan. In 2014, we moved to Chennai, India where I integrated the three practices to promote my clients’ physical, mental, and spiritual well-being.
I now live in Greenville, SC where I am continuing my Integrative Wellness journey. I graduated from Urban River Massage Institute in 2024, and recently completed Manual Lymph Drainage (Vodder Method) from Klose Training (February 2026) as well as completed Oncology Massage Therapist training (March 2026).
I work hard to use my knowledge and skills in Reflexology, Reiki, MLD, massage, and meditation to help facilitate my clients’ holistic health and well-being.
